You know what, rather than reading about who Mike Francis is; perhaps the question you really want to pursue is "Why do I want to know him?"
My experiences are my teachers. Just like everyone, I've made some decisions that I regret and I've made decisions that were almost perfect (in my view); and there are a million choices I made which were somewhere in between.
Here's the thing, I believe that ALL of life is relative and ALL of life is education. It's my responses which determine the manner in which I remember my life.
Bon Jovi states it nicely in one of their recent hits...
"Welcome to where ever you are,
This is your life, you've made it this far;
Welcome, you've got to believe,

You're exactly where you're supposed to be!"
I believe that I am a Brillionaire, wealthy in brilliance. All of my life experiences have made me who I am. I am brilliant! I am successful! I am happy!
